Babies, mothers, seniors, people with disabilities, and people with illness all need care. This blog is about the ways in which we give and receive care. My name is Donna Thomson and I am the mother of a young adult son with severe disabilities and a young adult daughter at university. I am the wife of a retired diplomat and the daughter of a feisty ninety year old. For me, caring for the people I love is both personal and political.
